That sounds interesting. Which edition did you buy?

I always put forward Stephen King's The Stand as the contemporary book that kids will be forced to read in school. It'll be called a metaphor for cold war thinking, most likely.

I also think Terry Pratchett will continue to be read for generations.

Do you think Shelby Foote's Civil War books will last? (I've never read them.)
