I agree they have many satisfied customers and shouldn't over-tinker. (I love my nano(s), and am really tempted by the new one.)
It's there tendency to not just focus on that, but to say (to beat an analogy to death): "We make the best Apple pies that customers want and love. However,
you cannot make apple pies that are: round, contain apples and sugar, are baked, or that are called 'apple pies'." That's what bugs me.
