In a way, you can "photoshop" videos easily, since Avid has its own array of add-ons and filter effects. How else would so many devices glow and sparkle in ads like lighthouse beacons showering pixie dust?
The images of the new Kindles do look as if they've been tweaked overall. That might be a post-pro-enhanced front-lit screen.
