Thusly you can't sync the software on your computer with one reader, the 350, to update your reading progress on your computer and then sync the new T1 to update it to the current reading position. Each of those readers uses two different computer software. They don't communicate with each other. They're two separate programs.
I have not tried since last night's update (the new Reader for PC) but, up until yesterday, I have used the 350 with Reader for PC (not Reader Library). It worked fine. I have PRS+ installed, but I seriously doubt that makes a difference.

Both my 350 and 950 work with both Reader Library and Reader for PC.
