The version from Project Gutenberg and the version published by Renaissance E Books at Fictionwise are both created from the 1928 Amazing Stories edition, and are probably identical. The abridgement took place when it was republished as a paperback in the 1960s, and IMHO the description by Renaissance is a ploy to make you think that it's a different (better) edition than the one at PG.
