Assuming you want to replace the Fire with another Kindle (I would)...
A number of folk here have already recommended the Kindle Touch, for reasons which are fine as far as they go.
However, may I suggest you consider either the Kindle NT or the Kindle Keyboard instead. My reason is based on my having a number of books and a number of collections. I administer my library using Calibre, with the Kindle Collections plugin. This makes collection creation and maintenance a breeze, BUT for reasons known only to Amazon, the Kindle Touch cannot be controlled using this incredibly useful software. Amazon have made the collections mechanism in the Touch inaccessible to the Calibre/Kindle Collections combo, but it is still possible to use it for either the KNT or the KKB.
I should not enjoy having to create my collections one book at a time!
In my case, this is reason enough to prevent my buying either the Touch or the Fire.
