FYI dreams, since the Kindle's USB port is [SARCASM]conveniently located on the bottom of the device so that resting the Kindle on any part of your body while charging is sure to eventually damage the cord,[/SARCASM] I bought
this USB cord with a right angle micro connector from Amazon to allow me to read while it's charging without putting undue stress on the cord.
I also bought a USB extension cord to allow me to get further from the outlet while reading. The two work well together.
