If you have 2000 and more books I think it is better to turn off display of covers in book library and in collections. This way reader is more responsive and saves battery.

I use Calibre to manage my book collection. Calibre version 0.8.55 fixed a bug that was corrupting database of books on SD card. When I change from Kobo Touch to PRS-T1 i run Calibre welcome wizard telling it I'm using PRS-T. Calibre. When I plug connect PRS-T1 Calibre displays message that it detects the Sony reader but does not respond correctly unless I run the wizard changing settings.
