That review isn't certainly positive. I currently have an iPad with iBooks and it works perfectly. iBooks epubs rendering is, I believe, fantastic.
Only problem with the iPad is reading in sunlight.
First, you need to put background light to max, but when the iPad senses it's too hot, it will dim the display -actually throttling the display's light down.
I can't really explain how annoying it can be when you are in the middle of a book and are about to find out who the murder is and suddenly...your screen dims to a point where you can't read anything  |
