I only use my Kindle Fire for reading in low light situations and my Kindle Keyboard for reading in high light situations. I don't use any other functions on the Fire. I watch video only on my 32" LCD TV's. I tried it on the Fire but the screen is just too small.
For me a Kindle Glow Light would replace both of those other devices. Frankly, the Kindle Fire is just a little too heavy for real comfort. A Kindle Glow Light would be just right for all iighting conditions.
I'd probably still keep my Kindle Fire and Kindle Keyboard since both still work fine. I had tried lighted covers for the Kindle Keyboard but they shorted the eReader and I discarded them.
Frankly, I expect to buy a new Kindle device every year if available. I buy mainly to enjoy new technology.
