There is also a bit of conspiracy theory worked in-- the whole Shakespeare isn't really the Shakespeare author is getting a bit tiring.

I also find it quite a stretch that everyone in a relatively poor coal mining town in the US knows every intimate detail of the 30 Years' War. I would be willing to bet that most American's don't know there was one, let alone where it was or who fought in it.

All that being said I really enjoyed the first book. I thought books 2 & 3 were just okay.
