If it is a promo deal, I hope they keep it up. I've bought more ebooks from google lately than I've bought anywhere in a long time. For a long time I've said I keep my ebook purchases under $5, due to my general budget vs rate I read, and Google has a lot under that price range. We've not seen sales in ages, so I'm happy.
