Whether it is an overpriced toy or not has nothing to do with how many units were sold this time vs last time. This overpriced toy seems to have sold much better than the previous one. I'm not sure how interesting that is, but then I didn't start this thread.
Criticizing something based on features (or lack of them), price, etc.. is fine. Criticizing something based on made up, or badly quoted, facts, is advocacy.
