I've found the value on your time is very flexible... I've quoted for web design jobs and found myself under quoting my time, and effectively working for free. Do you down tools and ask the client for more money or keep going? Sometimes it sucks.

However I recommend a lot of Indies take a look at the Linkedin groups, I've caused a bit of stir showing the much cheaper way of getting published and felt really sorry for those that got stung for $5000 or more, and got nothing in return.

It is sad...
