I have learned valuable lesson today. Don't follow directions. Do what makes sense. I'm rooted and trying to add Android Market which seems to be much harder than rooting. Perhaps there is a more updated procedure somewhere. So far I can't sit at the computer long enough to get this done. EEKS

I used this guide
here to get Android Market on. You're right; it's more complicated than rooting.
I already had the one Google file already installed from following the PC guide to rooting so at least I had that going for me.
There are Mac instructions on that page.
