I... maybe? It obviously claims it is, but it's in modern English and the preview sample doesn't have any information on how definitive that claim is. I would expect any edition to call out which edition it was based on by year (not number) as well as the translator(s) responsible for the work.

I've seen a lot of different books claiming to be a Grimms "first edition" and rarely seen one claiming to be a "twelfth edition" and yet the works are often very different, and in some cases include stories that demonstrably came very later, such as "Beauty and the Beast".
