I agree. I thought the e-reader was supposed to simulate a "book" reading experience with just a little more convenience, but essentially to emulate a real book, hence the paper like screen etc.

If you want it to do all the other stuff, then you need a tablet of some kind and the Kobo App or the new Kobo Vox.

BTW, I loved all my Palm PDA's. The things I miss the most on my iPhone are the portable keyboard that docked with the Palm and the ability to print via the infrared port to virtually any printer with the IR to Parallel printer port adapter. I used that daily! iPhone printing is virtually useless. I read many many books on my PDA's long before e-readers appeared. But now that the Kobo Touch's basic functions have settled down with each upgrade, I wouldn't give it up.
