That's very sad to hear. Her site was a great resource for the permafreebie stuff from other people's websites which wasn't some kind of time-limited store/Smashwords author promo, especially for the less-represented things like foreign-language books and niche genres.
I hope she'll reconsider keeping the original core pages up with the actual "online" novels as a reference resource for visitors, even if the updates of temp-promo downloadable Amazon/Smashwords/etc. things has become overwhelming and she understandably doesn't want to even deal with that at all (I know I certainly wouldn't bother trying).
Looks like I'll be spending the next few hours grabbing what's available of her site from the Google Cache, since unfortunately it's not been preserved in the Internet Archive.
