Thanks for this info, both.

It sounds good. Does it replace the Sony firmware, and should I place a copy of this somewhere safe just in case the ereader has a hiccup? Does replacing the firmware negate the warranty.

It's certainly the main annoyance to me - I imagine I'd find lots on PRS+ to like, but ATM, it's a case of what I don't know, I don't miss, so if changing the firmware does cause any warranty problems, it might be safer to use something like this till the warranty runs out. I take it that this can work alongside the Sony firmware?
