That reminds me of something that happened to me years ago when I still went out on Black Friday. I stopped at a chain office store (either Office Depot or OfficeMax, don't remember) to grab their ad, because it was missing from the paper. I was shocked when I walked in. Here it was, Black Friday and there were only two other customers in the entire store. The staff was very eager to help me. When I asked about the ad, they said that corporate had decided not to participate in Black Friday. No wonder the store was so empty; no BF sales. So I thanked them and headed to Best Buy next door.

Can you imagine the lost revenue they suffered for those three days? Anyway, the following year, they were participating again and I picked up a few items.
