That is an advantage for the Coby.
I saw this about the Coby elsewhere on the internet: "it has its own market called GetJar which is pretty useless because it doesnt have good apps."
However, the Kindle Fire will also have it's own app store and may NOT be compatible with other Android apps.
Coby has a capacitive multi touch controls powered by Android OS 2.3 high-speed 1 GHz processor. Doesn't the Kindle Fire have a 2 GHz processor and has its own mainframes speeding up web access by Silk? Plus, the only eReader app for the Coby will be the Aldiko E-book reader application. Can that one read Kindle eBooks?
Plus, the Coby was released Oct 1, 2011. The Kindle Fire will be released on Nov 15, 2011. Thus, the Kindle engineers can look at the Coby and build in advantages. The Coby engineers had not seen a Kindle Fire when they went gold.
How about giving us the comparative attributes of the Coby and the Fire?
I'm primarily buying the Fire to read Kindle eBooks in low light situations. I presently use the 3rd Generation Kindle Kbd WiFi but need good light for that. Will Coby have a Kindle app? Will there be many differences between the Coby/Kindle App and the Kindle Fire native software to read Kindle eBooks?
