I was thrilled to see another update so quickly, and am also happy to see the comments made in this thread by Sameer. The only interface bugs I can find are minor and have been mentioned already (most noticeably, shortlisted books show both add to shortlist and remove from shortlist as menu options). Despite all the new features introduced in the last two firmware updates, I'd say I'm happiest about the cut off text bug being fixed in the previous release. Having to fiddle with the text settings all the time was stealing precious reading time, and I certainly don't miss that bug.

I like the new touch screen options, and I would echo the request of another poster who asked for tap anywhere (except the bottom middle of the screen) to go forward, and swipe to go back. I understand this might be hard to explain to users with a simple diagram, so we may never see it, but one can dream.

One other nice addition I noticed which I haven't seen mentioned anywhere is that when adding new sideloaded content, the KT now shows a percent progress when loading the content. This is when loading content via USB, but I'm assuming an SD card would work similarly. I don't remember seeing a progress indicator before this update.

Has anyone else seen this? Will it go away after another upgrade?
I upgraded to 1.9.12 a few days ago. I had this "soft reset" happen once on upgrade day, it's been fine since. I inadvertently toggled the power switch twice in quick succession with the KT on, and from what I recall the screen on the reader went completely blank (white). The double-power was because I was going into sleep mode then changed my mind and decided to power the unit off, so I hit power again while it was entering sleep mode. I was able to power the KT on again with no problems, but was given the language selection, setup, etc.

I had to update nearly all of my settings, i.e. browser favorites/homepage, font settings, sleep/power preferences, etc. I think the only thing that it remembered was saved wireless networks. All my books and data were still there though.
