I would say the screen flash is about the same as on my 350. On my defective Sony the flashing was more apparent.
The flash I notice & it is multiple is when I bring up the reader store & click on the fist book to view. After the first time or two it doesn't have the multiple flash. So I would say the worst of my flashing happens at the reader store.
