He doesn't support my reading habit so I wont complain too much.  I've sent him to B&N or WalMart to buy romances before when they weren't on ebook.

Its good that he'll go out and get it, even if it might make him grumble a little.
Going to the book store is a family deal. We let the kids pick out books on their own. Our only real limitation is "No Toys!" Although I understand tie-ins, having toys mixed in with the books drives me nuts! The kids get separate, specific trips to the toy store, where as the bookstore is a little more frequent and spontaneous.
I find that I still like roaming the bookstore even though most of my purchases are now e-books. Hubby especially likes used book stores, because the low prices lets him act like a kid in a candy store!
