And trust me people will rob you of your jewelry any where. And even your home is not safe if someone wants something. I just had a man in my store who's girl friend stole his Rolex and other expensive jewelry from his home safe. At today's gold prices that was tens of thousands of dollars.
I carry my Nook Color everywhere I go. If it is stolen that is what my insurance is for.

hahaha I lost my pet several times too lol. I have never seen people using e reader in public places until now. (my place anyway, but E-reader device is not big here. People tend to choose tablets, and even that is seldom seen)
Caution is the key I suppose.
