Thanks for the suggestions, but I don't see anything like what you are describing in Android. And I have gone to some Android specific forums and people there seem to be complaining about the same thing, so I don't think two-page mode is currently implemented for Android.
I hadn't really intended to use the tablet for reading since I have a Kindle, but it would have been nice for a fallback, if I ever needed it.
