I can't quite decide whether to be cross because of the broken Kindle (which seems to me to quite possibly be part of a bad batch) or pleased because of the swift and easy replacement.

mine broke a few weeks ago due to no mistreatment on my part. the e-ink/screensaver refuses to disappear from the upper left quadrant of the screen and looks as if its cracked inside (which its not) or like a broken etch a sketch.

i had my replacement in 2 days. amazon's customer service is awesome.
