My son's Kindle has broken again. The screen substrate has broken, without any maltreatment. (You can usually tell if it's broken through maltreatment, because there's be an obvious point of impact on the screen. On this one is an almost straight break from side to side.)
But he's just phoned Amazon, and a free replacement will be here on Wednesday.
I can't quite decide whether to be cross because of the broken Kindle (which seems to me to quite possibly be part of a bad batch) or pleased because of the swift and easy replacement.
I suspect I tend towards the latter, as I've certainly not been put off getting other Kindles in the future.
