Did you find any way to export comments? This was the deal breaker for me. What format is the notes file? Have you tried this? How does it separate between notes taken on different books?
I am currently using rooted Nook Touch and using epub works well with annotations...they are stored in a sqllite database that can be easily exported.
ezPDF works close to decent in landscape mode. Quite challenging if the book is full format (Letter/A4) ...pocket format is OK.
How does epub annotation export work?
One last question: the PDF readers on PC have the option to select text and press Ctrl+B to create a book mark with the text selected above. Can you try to see if there is any way to do that with your ereader?
