I deliberately used the word "content" rather than "books." If all you read are books, there's really no difference between the K3 and the Sonys, even the T1. If you don't buy books from the store, you have to hook something up to your computer, be it SD or cable. (I do see that for those who use laptops, the SD card is a little handier than a cable. But I have a desktop, with a cable permanently inserted to handle all my devices.)

But content is more than just books, & that's where the K3 comes out way ahead. Between Instapaper, Readablity, and Send to Kindle, I can wirelessly send all kinds of content on my K3 directly from my computer, iPad or iPhone.
