The first assertion isn't so much of a problem for me. However, I really have some 'problem' with the second one.
In fact, I'm not sure I should say I read several books at a time. It's rather that I begin a book while another is not finish — and planned for re-reading later, usually from the beginning...

I have a question in this regard: if you pick it up again, then do you read it from the last page you were, or you feel the need to re-read it from the beginning, or at least from several page back?
As I said, the last part applies generally for me (if I don't open it for, say, more than two weeks).
