Not every tea-tree ois is the same.
Actually there are two completely different plants which are called tea tree just because Cpt. Cook used leaves of both in this way.

only one of those - the manuka (leptospermum scoparum) plant from NZ has significantly high medical value (altough both oils are sold as tea tree oil)

It's even been reported, that said plant's honey is able do destroy MRSA which is resisrent vs. all existing antibiotics.
Divers like that stuff too, becaus it cleans sinuses completely i.e. better than antibiotics which effectively means diving w/o headaches again.
