Was it in Topper where I ran across the phrase "step-ins" for more delicate undergarments (as opposed to capacious bloomers)?

If you folks enjoy Topper, look into Manning Coles' series of three books: Brief Candles, Happy Returns and Come and Go -- two deceased cousins and their (also deceased) pet monkey to the rescue!
