edgejr is the model number for the Pocket eDGe. You'll see that on the Amazon Appstore, too if you have an account there. The big eDGe is just called "eDGe."
I'm sure you've seen splitpersonality's blog, but just in case here it is:

http://dustyfeet.com/edge/ (p-update not e-update). And I'm assuming you have tried FAT32 as well as FAT, or some people have success with a microSD card.
I sure hope your Pocket eDGe survives this dark time, and you do too!
