The following behavior is part of "getting to know you" and staking out territory. This will go on for a couple of days, or until the older cat gets tired and wants a nap. The older cat may growl during this - that's normal too - kind of like laying down the rules for junior.
Make bath time a fun game! Put a large puddle of warm water in the tub or sink, let the faucet drip, add toys & kitten - and let her play while you suds her up. Keep shampoo out of eyes. Rinse well and towel dry with lots of praise.
