I think you hit the nail on the head, men's buttons are designed to be done up with the right hand. Belts are the same, you use your right hand to thread the belt, so the buckle will always be on the left side and you pull the loose end with your right. That's my theory anyway
Croc's, they are one of those "Love/Hate" things, I have tried them on and loved them in the store, but after 3 or 4 hours in them my feet were in agony and it felt as though the skin on the bottom of my feet was coming off. I still have the shoes and if I wear socks, which I think looks like those old guys in sandals and black socks, ridiculous! Don't get me wrong, if you like them they seem to be great, I still wear mine in the water for short periods, they are great for river running, unless you wear stubby fins.
As for fashion, I do have a question, is it ever ok to wear brown shoes and belt with black or grey pants or suit? Sorry one of my pet peeves!
