Won't the biggest difference between natural and artificial be the lack of this special bacteria that is healthy for your stomach? (this was the original idea of the author why we should eat it). Probably not the same bacteria but the same idea of a bacteria that resides in kefir or natto or kombucha or sauerkraut (fermented cabbage)?
