Well, actually, I've spent that on other stuff, but that's how much I 'would have burn up' if I didn't put down cigarettes! 12 years, 10 months, three weeks, and one day ago!

I think I have spent the money on red wine and lots of extra food!

That, and my parents would probably throw me out of the house if I did start.

I am also athsmatic, but found I wheezed less when I was smoking. I think this is due to all the cillia going to sleep in your lungs so you don't react so much. Even so, If you want to start smoking, you should have spent some time with Aunty Marie before she died. Hopefully that would have put you off.

More better they have dead babies! Maybe then the chain of stupidity would cease.

The thing about smoking that reduces stress is called by scientists; 'the sighing breath response.' It's what smokers do with the first one or two drags on a cigarette... draw in a deep breath of smoke, hold it an extra second or two, then slowly let it out. It's relaxing. But.... here's the tip...

IT IS JUST AS RELAXING DOING THE SAME THING WITHOUT THE SMOKE!
Try it yourself. Deep breath, hold, slowly release... relax.

Save a lot of money. Save your health. Smell better to other people. Have whiter teeth. And in S'pore, don't have problems with the police for smoking in the street!

I am going to try that. it took a lot of Nicorette gum for me to stop.

He could not breathe at all. And his dad had been recently diagnosed with emphysema, so he had an idea about what was ahead. He got a box of nicotine patches, and that was the end of smoking. He fell back into smoking by joining in on cigars with the guys on a deep sea fishing trip. So he got another box of patches, and that was the end of that.
yay!
