@lestatar: yes, that would be a good thread, and I do know what you mean! there are certainly some novels that I was made to read in my high school/early university days, and while I was a bit lazy to start them, I ended up being very satisfied
and as for books being turned into movies, i think that once i watch the movie, i'm too lazy to read the book. i never read Dan Brown's books, just watched the movies.
@sea: good luck |D i'm into travel non-fiction myself, but the ones i want to read are all from the Agency 6 and thus are rather costly for me in my situation at this time
@PG: I can't imagine completely abandoning a book (just pauses for me), as I would want to at least force myself to finish and get my money's worth.
