This hasn't got anything to do with anger, certainly not directed at you or the other resellers. But, quite frankly, as a consumer I don't care
why a certain product is so much more expensive over here than in the US, I just note that it is. Market segmentation like that may have worked in the pre-Internet age, but today worldwide pricing information is just a mouse click away. I know the current exchange rate, I factor in sales tax, even shipping -- and the difference is still appalling. As a result I feel shafted, and either import the item in question myself, buy something else, or simply take my disposable income elsewhere.
It's a worldwide market, and globalization must work for both consumers and producers; failing to take that into account makes your (potential) customers unhappy. All devices are manufactured in the same Chinese factory, after all...
This is not an issue unique to PocketBook, I hasten to add, although it seems to have reached new heights there.
