@dixiegal: i wish. i'm still finishing up my second degree and am doing a part-time job, but even when full-time, moving out is not usually done with most families here, especially chinese ones. we're supposed to only move out after we get married. i am just hoping to be able to get a job abroad. if i tell my parents i want to move out, it's going to open another can of worms...or snakes, either way xP

i'm not sure if my family is close. i mean, i could never be comfortable enough to tell them anything emotion-wise, because my family doesn't do that, or at least my parents don't. in the past when i tried, my mom just called me melodramatic, so i tend not to tell them stuff anymore xP and sometimes i think they don't know how to handle certain things, so they resort to threatening us instead. mom keeps doing that to me if she thinks i have a boyfriend or something, and it's really traumatic @_@ she gets all in your face and demand you cut off all ties or something. she made me do it when i was in grade school and i lost a potential friend ._.;
