I agree with you on not making stuff where people have no respect for copyrights but I vehemently disagree that the quality is the same as or better. Not in my experience and certainly not from the vast majority of Chinese eBay sellers.

I have a lot of experience on eBay and it's usually always junk. PayPal 'protection' is a joke. The only way to get 'protected' is to send it back where you got it with online delivery confirmation. Go check with your post office as to how much that is to China. It ain't cheap!

My concern wasn't the lights overheating but the battery compartment. I've seen and read far too many horror stories of electronices, purses, dresses and makeup coming from China. Dog food was poisoned, lead in kids toys, formaldehyde in toothpaste among others. Not for me thanks.

Yes the Mightybright lights I have all say made in China.
