If you don't want your design stolen and sold cheap, then don't have it made in a cheap chinese factory. Many of these knockoffs are as good or better than the over priced original. I I would pay the overprice if it were made say in OZ, but it is often made in the same factory with less mark up added) I admit one must be careful, but it was worth risk for the price, and it is very good. LEDs tend not to over heat. (will watch the battery casing)
Also the price was probably really cheap because the Ozzie dollar is so high at the moment. Even buying US stuff is cheap cheap!
