As a new Kindle user, I had to read through 40 pages of this thread to find this basic information. I didn't even realize there was a "restart" menu item in the software and had tried restarting and even rebooting the K3 several times via the hardware switch, and obviously had no luck. I'd been digging through the thread to see what the problem might be.
Maybe you could clarify this in the first page instructions? I know it probably seems obvious to more experienced Kindle users, but this is the first (and possibly only) time many of us will restart our Kindles this way.
For those people who are looking for it: Click the "menu" button; scroll down to "Settings" & click. Once you are in Settings, click the "menu" button *again*, then scroll down to "restart" & click. (Not exactly intuitive, is it?)
