I think that the unregistering and re-registering of that file that Jon had you do is unnecessary. Brian didn't do it and I didn't do it and Book Designer works fine on both of our machines. Really, the wiki should be written up following Brian's instructions, though if Jon wanted, he could (and probably would) substitute putting the Book Designer some place else besides Program Files, and also using the MobileRead Book Designer downloads. Everything else could be left as Brian has written.
Not sure how much you'd have to write about negotiating the command prompt. It was a mystery to me before I started, but maybe to most everyone else that's old stuff.
