It's not available as an ebook, and I haven't read it, but it's well regarded. I've read "Six Days of War" -the event which supercharged the conflict. Its excellent and is available as an ebook. There is also a Kindle edition for Thomas Friedman's "From Beirut to Jerusalem" , which is a decent primer on the conflict up to the First Intifada.

This is the most written about ethnic conflict in history, so there is no shortage of material out there. If you were interested in the Congo or the Kashmir, you would be really stuck.
