I just noticed that I only have this problem with epub books. I suppose this is related to the fact that there are no settings available for epubs in the PB903. With html, doc and some others, where I can change the settings (font, encoding etc.), all letters with diacritics (ä, ö, é etc.) are correctly interpreted for what they are.
So I guess I need to find a way either to get inside the epub files and change something or to convert them into some other format such as fb2. Any suggestions?
Edit: Some googling has made me think that I should be able to read epub books with the fbreader without problems. Now I only need to figure out how to select reader ...
Edit 2: ... which I have done now. (I suppose I was too eager to start reading instead of getting to know the reader properly first
)
