The Leya approach is very interesting and i think might be something to adopt by the other publishers in the future, though i prefer to pay less and have an electronic copy only.
I must confess i did not catch the part of shooting themselves again... i am pretty sure they had no ebook store before...

"gave in" (though there are still books
available for download, but he'd like you to buy a copy too) - as far as I can remember, the original "Piratecohelo" page had books in Portuguese for free, and those in other languages available, too, though he'd ask people to buy copies to protect the work of the translators.
