Two firm straps at bottom, two elastic straps at top (I prefer this as it makes easing the e-reader in and out really simple and holds the ereader very firmly).
A bookplate at the back of the reader.
Aluminium insert to protect the screen.
Very likely a magnetic clasp (Still debating this as it seems the most functional but also not as pretty as the one he already uses).

I would be interested in seeing the finished product.
I have a 650, so it would be interesting if similar could be done for that model.
