sunsurfer, I'm not saying that this month's winner would have little support. I'm saying that it did that one time last year, because there was such a close vote among a number of nominations.
Actually, now that the weather is turning nice, I'm skeptical that either 1984 or Anna Karenina will be read by many because they both have the reputation of being on the serious side. That's why I think it wouldn't be a bad thing if Purple Sage were to win.
